It is the ideal place for a relaxed stop and at the same time a popular starting point for many walks, hikes and mountain tours. From here, visitors enjoy a wonderful view of the striking peaks of the surrounding Dolomites.

Due to the large number of visitors in Val Fiscalina, between 1 July and 31 August we recommend arriving at the car park by 9:00 am at the latest.
Parking spaces cannot be reserved. Spaces are allocated solely according to availability on site.
When the car park is full, it is not possible to wait on site for a space to become free. In that case you will have to leave Val Fiscalina.
This rule is necessary to avoid traffic jams and obstructions and to keep the road clear for public buses.
If you arrive later, we therefore recommend taking the public bus to Val Fiscalina. This lets you plan your journey stress-free and helps reduce traffic in the valley.

Further up the valley you will find the Bistro Bergsteiger. Hikers and visitors can take a relaxing break here and enjoy the special atmosphere of Val Fiscalina.
Mornings bring an aperitif with a view of the Dolomites, lunchtime bistro dishes from South Tyrolean cuisine, and the afternoon a hearty mountaineer’s platter, snacks and homemade Puster Valley desserts.
The ingredients come from close by: meat and sausages from Sesto, cheese from producers in the valley, herbs and wild greens from the meadows and forests, potatoes and vegetables from the Puster Valley.
The name pays tribute to the man who founded the Dolomitenhof in 1905: “Sepp”, known respectfully in the valley as “the Bergsteiger” – the mountaineer.

Three Peaks Nature Park
Val Fiscalina is one of the finest starting points for hikes and mountain tours in the Three Peaks Nature Park. Along the valley there are several places to stop for refreshments before the trails lead on into the impressive high mountains of the Sesto Dolomites.
The Fischleinboden Hut lies on the Fischleinboden meadow and is a popular first stop in the valley. Surrounded by the impressive backdrop of the Sesto Dolomites, it is an ideal starting point for walks, hikes and longer mountain tours.

The path continues through Val Fiscalina to the Talschlusshütte (Rifugio Fondovalle), impressively situated at the end of the valley. It is a popular hiking destination and an important starting point for further tours into the Sesto Dolomites.
This is where the high mountains begin: many trails and mountain tours lead on to the Zsigmondy Hut, the Büllelejoch Hut and towards the Drei Zinnen Hut. The world-famous Three Peaks, one of the landmarks of the Dolomites, can also be reached from Val Fiscalina on longer mountain tours.
An impressive mountain route leads up through the Bacherntal to the Zsigmondy Hut, in the heart of the Sesto Dolomites.
High above the valley lies the Büllelejoch Hut, a distinctive stop on the well-known Three Huts Tour.
Demanding mountain trails lead from Val Fiscalina into the area of the world-famous Three Peaks and to the Drei Zinnen Hut.
Val Fiscalina therefore offers leisurely walkers, families and experienced mountain hikers alike many ways to discover the unique landscape of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site.
